I usually get take-out on my way home and it's always a good meal for a good price. Workers are all extremely friendly. The buffet is excellent.
Amazing all you can eat American Chinese buffet in the heart of Oakland. The owner is so pleasant. $8.50 includes a standard buffet plus drink. Sit down options are more 'authentic' Mandarin and Cantonese fare.
Five stars isn't meant to be like 'this is the best restaurant in town period' - it's meant to be 'this is the best Chinese buffet anywhere'. They choose quality over quantity at this place, so instead of having ten types of unappealing shellfish and mystery fake crab concoctions, endless bland desserts, and horrible pizza, they have just what you want - Chinese comfort food that's actually better than a lot of dedicated takeout restaurants I've had. It's the best Chinese buffet I've been to that I can think of. I wish they'd open a location in Chicago where I live now. All the Chinese buffets here are awful and a Golden Palace would show them how it's done and probably clean up $.
One of my favorite restaurants in the world. Been coming here consistently for years and honestly? I think food has gotten better over that time. Staff is friendly, it’s very affordable, and they have a poster from the 1992 World Series for some reason. I love it. I love it so much. Also I noticed some reviews claim that they don’t have dessert here, which is not 100% true, being that they have sugar donuts. The GOAT.
The pork buns, duck, chicken, and dumplings were absolutely yummy. Each bite was a burst of incredible flavors. Highly recommend!

I think this place is actually quite underrated! They specialize in Cantonese food, and some of the menu items are truly unique. I have tried a few of their dinners, and everything has been pretty satisfactory. A few days ago, I went and just got a little snack from them. I tried the flowing egg sugar buns. They were actually very tasty as well. Not incredibly sweet, but still very flavorful. Filled with a ton of the sweet paste on the inside. I've had this from a few places, and this has been one of my favorite versions. Tons of filling too! Solid portions, okay prices. All in all, I think this place is often overlooked, but it's quite good! Very solid deal for the portions and unique items. I would recommend it!
